In what has become Tyler, the Creator’s signature style of surreal yet hilarious artistry, the rapper has unveiled a nautically themed music video for his song “See You Again,” a cut off of the rapper’s last record Flower Boy.

The video, which features singer Kali Uchis and fellow rapper and friend A$AP Rocky, was apparently directed by Tyler’s alter ego “Wolf Haley,” in a style that seems to be a nod to Wes Anderson’s love of flat camera angles and primary color palettes.

The clip follows Tyler leading a seafaring life, bored and apathetic to his surroundings with a particular dead-eyed stare. Eventually, the shot pans out to reveal they’re on a military ship. Tyler, clad in a yellow beret and red pants, raps his incredible verses on the deck of the boat with some colorful seamen.

Just like his “Who Dat Boy” video ended with a clip from “911 / Mr. Lonely,” this video ends with a small sample of “Where This Flower Blooms” (another Frank Ocean feature!). The new video follows a slew of loose releases that Tyler has been dropping via Twitter over the past couple of months, including the popular “Potato Salad” with A$AP Rocky, verse on $ilkMoney’s “NAGA,” and remixes for songs like Playboi Cari’s “R.I.P.” and Lil Baby’s “Yes Indeed.” Others include some fairly loose freestyles such as “Bronco,” “435,” “Gelato” and “Peach Fuzz.”
