Local H Announce Fall 2018 Pack Up The Cats 20th Anniversary Tour Featuring John Haggerty of Naked Raygun

Local H, the alt-rock power duo from Illinois are bringing their iconic concept album, Pack Up The Cats on the road. Next month, the record is set to celebrate its 20th anniversary, and the duo has big plans o honor their most popular album. The band, which initially was formed by guitarist and vocalist Scott Lucas, bassist Matt Garcia, drummer Joe Daniels, and lead guitarist John Sparkman back in the late 1980s, will hit the road starting this September and perform their album in its entirety. Local H will bring along special music guests, John Haggerty of Naked Raygun and Pegboy as surprise guitarist.

Local H’s Pack Up The Cats shows will consist of up to three hours of music and be made up of two sets.  Each night of the tour will see the band opening for themselves and performing songs from their complete discography, including tracks ranging from their albums, Ham Fisted and As Good As Dead, to their most recent single “Innocents.” After a short intermission, the band will return to the stage for their second set that will include the band performing all 15 tracks (as they appear on the original release) from their album, Pack Up The Cats.

Pack Up The Cats was released back in September of 1998, it was produced by Queen’s legendary producer Rob Thomas Baker and includes “All-Right (Oh Yeah) and “All The Kids Are Right.” It brought Local H into the front of the pack in the alternative music genre. The album landed at #20 on Spin’s list of the 20 best albums of 1998 as well as the #2 on Chicago Tribune’s list of the best albums of 1998.
