Music and food are two amazing parts of life that always seem to go together as debuted by musicians and cooks alike such as Anthony Bourdain, Action Bronson, and so forth. Now, according to The PRP, the band Clutch has taken the rotisserie wheel in their new video for the track “Hot Bottom Feeder.” In the music video, the band teaches its audience how to make some pretty amazing Maryland Crab Cakes.
The song is a classic blue piece that begins by telling us the ingredients needed in order to make this delicious crab cake (though I did not try to make this as I am severely allergic to anything from the sea except seaweed diluted in ramen broth). As the vocals begin, the lyrics are brought up on screen in an interactive manner, keeping the audience on their toes for the next instructions. At one point, the song goes into a small history on crabs before quickly shelling out more directions for these cakes (see what I did there?). This song and video is instructional, funny, and badass: all the things needed in order to cook crab cakes from a blues rock song and music video. This video, though incredible as a standalone, is only the precursor the Clutch’s 12 album “Book of Bad Decisions,” which will take to the sea this September 7th. Check out the video below.
