Iron & Wine Share New Song “What Hurts Worse” and Will Release EP Weed Garden in August 2018

Sam Beam, aka Iron & Wine, is back with the follow up to one of the best albums of 2017, Beast Epic, with an EP collecting material from the last three years. The record will be called Weed Garden and will feature a new song called “What Hurts Worse,” which was released today. The EP will be released on August 31, 2018 on the band’s most recent label Sub Pop.

The song is a six-song collection that features songs written during the period that resulted in Beast Epic, but never were completed. They were not excluded from the album because of a lack of quality; instead, Beam simply ran out of time to have them included on the 2017 album.
