While the goblin obsessed death-metal band Nekrogoblikon perform at The Vans Warped Tour, mascot John Goblikon also interviews other musicians on his talk show. The result is equal parts funny and odd often dependent on the show’s guest. The PRP shared an episode of the internet show with fellow Warped Tour act, The Used. Watch the video below.
Donning a pineapple-covered tropical shirt, Goblikon interviews Warped Tour Bands from inside a makeshift tiki hut that looks like a prop from a Jimmy Buffet concert. In this episode, internet famous, Goblikon talks with The Used about tour buses, toilet amenities and iPhones. Earlier during the Warped Tour, Goblikon interviewed Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die and it’s equally hilarious.
Nekrogoblikon released their latest album Welcome to Bonkers in April of this year. As the bands mascot, John Goblikon appears on stage and in their music videos, gaining popularity after their video for “No One Survives” went viral. Goblikon now hosts an internet talk show called Right Now With John Goblikon.
This is the final year for the full cross-country run of The Vans Warped Tour. After a 24-year run, festival organizer Kevin Lyman made the announcement in November 2017. Read about the full lineup and remaining tour dates here.
