Machine Head Announces Fall 2018 North American Tour Dates

Metal band, Machine Head begin the second leg of their North American “Freaks & Zeros” tour this fall. Fans of the metal band will be happy to hear the new tour dates include six rescheduled shows previously cancelled due to Front man Robb Flynn’s severe lung infection.

According to The PRP, Flynn said, “We’re really stoked to be hitting the road in the states and our cannabis legalizing brothers up in Canada again.”

Flynn also stated, “And as a sense of pride I’m definitely looking forward to making up the six shows we had to cancel back in February. I tell you what man… that last show in Pittsburgh… it was one of the roughest shows of my life. It’s one of the most helpless feelings in the world, losing your voice onstage. There’s no ‘powering through it’, there’s no ‘manning up’, and while I hardly consider myself the most manly-man out there, I hold myself to an impossibly high standard when it comes to performing. I want to fucking crush it every night, I want to blow people away every night. And when I can’t, it really is a feeling of complete powerlessness.”

Machine Head released their latest album, Catharsis earlier this year amid some controversy surrounding their first single “Beyond the Pale”. Fans took to social media claiming the riff from the new single sounded suspiciously like that of the song “Love?” from Canadian band Strapping Young Lad. Flynn admitted to the unintentional riff similarity and reportedly payed a small fine for the infringement.
