Back in the mid-’90s, it was an honor for a band to be ridiculed on the legendary MTV cartoon Beavis and Butt-Head. At the conclusion of an episode, the duo would lambast a music video, delivering plenty of classic material and hilarious one-liners. It was a right of passage for any big up-and-coming band to get a featured spot on the show.

Now, as reported by Stereogum, Beavis and Butt-Head creator Mike Judge created a special video of the duo mocking the Portugal. The Man song “Feel It Still.” The band has been playing the clip as the intro to their live shows recently, and it certainly brings out the laughs. The clip sees Beavis and Butt-Head sitting on their couch watching the music video, riffing on the various scenes until Butt-Head delivers an eloquent monologue about how the song is so bad that it’s actually amazing, and that it makes Portugal. The Man, the greatest band in the world.

“Feel It Still” was the surprise hit of 2017, a wildly successful single that won a Grammy for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” at time when many detractors are claiming that rock music is dead, with the music charts reflecting that trend as the song one of the highest charting rock songs in recent memory on the Billboard Hot 100. “Feel It Still” is off the latest Portugal. The Man record, the awesome Woodstock, which came out last year and won the band some of its highest sales of their career as well as plenty of critical acclaim.
