Kesha has been through the ringer and back again due to the legal battle between Kesha and producer Dr. Luke for his alleged misuse of power, to say the least, when working with the aforementioned artist among others. Kesha, however, is the type of person to not stop working even when fighting a massive uphill obstacle. In fact, through a recent press release, the pop singer has announced a beautiful new music festival called “Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride,” which will take place at sea this coming mid-February.
Kesha and music festival moguls Sixthman have worked together in order to produce the best and weirdest festival, yet. “Kesha’s Weird & Wonderful Rainbow Ride” is a four-day vacation that will house a maximum of 2500 music lovers from Tampa, Florida all the way to Nassau in the Bahamas on the absolutely enormous cruise ship the Norwegian Pearl.
When talking about the upcoming festivities, Kesha enthusiastically says that “We will let go of the worries in our lives together on the open sea. We will all be on a rainbow-glitter filled trip together where the dance parties never end,” says Kesha.” I’m bringing some of my most fabulous friends and fellow performers to make sure your boogie feet never stop.”
Musicians accompanying the lineup on the cruise includes the greats such as Betty Who, Superfruit, Jonathan Van Ness, Big Freedia, Wrabel, Bob the Drag Queen, and Detox. In addition to these guests, Kesha will play two sets during the four-day extravaganza; both of which will be held on the pool deck.
Although this will be a luxury cruise music festival, prices are pretty affordable when comparing to other long-term experiences. Double occupancy rooms will begin at $895 dollars before taxes and fees, but there are a plethora of even more affordable payment plans. To make sure you book your room, visit here for all options. The first 200 fans to book will also receive an exclusive special edition poster with Kesha’s autograph! Not only will there be a grand cruise adventure, but there will even be a duty-free shopping time as well as some experiences within Nassau itself! If you are looking for the summer ride of your life, then this is it, so don’t miss out!
UPDATE (9/13): Girl Talk and and Matt and Kim have been added to the festival. They’ll headline the traveling cruise festival.
