Chaka Khan Shares New Single “Like Sugar” From Her First Album in a Decade

Funk, soul and disco pioneer Chaka Khan is back for the first time in over a decade with the release of her new single “Like Sugar.” Khan’s last release was in 2007 with the album Funk This. 

The Like Sugar EP consists of multiple versions of the single, the extended mix and a remix by Switch- a member formerly of Major Lazer. Switch also owns the Diary Records, the label behind the release of the Like Sugar EP.

Khan is making a number of appearances this year including one at Pitchfork’s Music Festival and also at Essence Festival. Listen to the single “Like Sugar” below via YouTube.
