Interpol recently held live-streamed a press conference for their upcoming sixth album, Marauder, which releases on August 24th. The press conference, held from Mexico City, was a chance for Interpol to give fans exclusive details about the album and its making-of. Check out the fully recorded press conference:
Marauder’s first single, “The Rover,” will be performed live on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on June 8. The song is available for listeners below.
About, the album, band member Paul Banks said, “Marauder is a facet of myself. That’s the guy that fucks up friendships and does crazy shit. He taught me a lot, but it’s representative of a persona that’s best left in song,” said Banks. “In a way, this album is like giving him a name and putting him to bed.” The album art and tracklist are below.

Interpol is also planning a worldwide tour, in addition to previously announced appearances at NYC’s House of Vans, Chicago’s Riot Fest and London’s Hyde Park with The Cure. Fans that pre-order Marauder directly from the Interpol store will have access first to ticket pre-sales for the new shows, which include Madison Square Garden, Hollywood Bowl, and Royal Albert Hall.
