Resurrection Festival Announces 2018 Lineup Featuring Wolves in the Throne Room, Ghost and At The Gates

Resurrection Festival is undoubtedly one of Spain’s greatest rock festivals, and an essential member of the European summer festival circuit. The event, held in the small fishing town of Viveiro, Lugo in northern Spain, has announced fittingly massive lineup for its 2018 incarnation, its 12th edition so far.

The beloved festival has always had fairly impressive headliners, but this year is truly a standout, with the likes of beloved melodic hard rock/heavy metal legends Ghost, who have recently dropped their fourth LP Prequelle, classic German pop metal legends Scorpions, one of the thrash metal big four Megadeth, pop rock/glam metal veterans KISS, the reincarnated combination of Audioslave and Public Enemy as Prophets of Rage, and that’s just talking about the Main Stage.

There are plenty of incredible artists from the other stages, including critically and commercially acclaimed atmospheric black metal outfit Wolves in the Throne Room, 90’s melodic death metal legends At the Gates, Aussie deathcore beloveds Thy Art is Murder, thrash and groove metal veterans Exodus, New York hardcore punk rising stars Turnstile, and many more.

Alongside the many, many established acts participating, Resurrection Festival will be holding its annual Band Contest, where three acts from Spain, France or Portugal will be given the opportunity to perform alongside true legends.

Tickets for the event can be purchased on the festival website here. Check out the full lineup below on the festival flyer.
