Between the Buried and Me and Allegaeon Confirmed for 2018 Summer Slaughter Tour Dates

The annual Summer Slaughter Tour has been officially announced with Between the Buried and Me and Allegaeon set to play on the tour. According to The PRP, the tour was leaked last night and confirmed officially today with other acts including Veil of Maya, ERRA, The Agony Scene, Terror Universal, Soreption, Entheos, and Born of Osiris. The tour will kick off July 13th in Raleigh, NC and will hit other major cities including Atlanta, New York, Denver and Los Angeles before concluding in Austin, TX August 19th. Between the Buried and Me were previously announced as the headliner of the tour by the founder of the festival Ash Avildsen. In an interview with The Jasta Show, Avildsen announced that the band would headline along with labelmates Born of Osiris and After The Burial. Between the Buried and Me recently announced that they are releasing their second album this year, titled Automata II. Automata II is set to be released on July 13th and is followed by Automata I which was released in March. The band also recently covered Cave In’s “Big Riff” in honor of late band member Caleb Scofield.

Also on the tour bill, Allegaeon just wrapped up their Dank Memes tour along with Rings of Saturn, Nekrogoblikon, and Entheos and recently did killer cover of Rush’s “Animate.”

The Summer Slaughter Tour started in 2007 and has included well-known metal musicians including The Black Dahlia Murder, The Faceless, and Cannibal Corpse. It continues to give metal fans the tour that they look forward to every year.
