Tyler, the Creator is back with another new song, the smashing “435”. This follows in the wake of another new song that was released earlier this year, the rollicking “Rose Tinted Cheeks.” As reported by Pitchfork, the new song and music video were recorded in Philadelphia in February in between tour dates and sees Tyler, the Creator dishing out plenty of sweet rhymes over a grooving drum machine beat. While the song is barely 90 seconds in duration, Tyler, the Creator wastes no time in laying out some particularly caustic and vicious lines. The video, filmed in a single take by Luis “Panch” Perez was shot in the recording studio and sees Tyler, the Creator, mouthing the lyrics to the track while walking around the studio.

Since releasing his incredible Flower Boy album last year, Tyler, the Creator has been on quite the roll, delivering acclaimed guest appearances at Coachella and rolling through tour after successful tour, including showstopping performance at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles in April. While he has indicated that the sound on “435” is not indicative of how the sound will be on future recordings, fans are no doubt excited at the prospect of new material coming out in the near future.
