Regina Spektor Announces Limited Summer 2018 Solo Tour Dates

Singer-songwriter Regina Spektor has announced six select tour dates in support of her most recent album, Remember Us to Life, beginning July 8 in Melbourne, Australia and ending August 22 In Los Angeles, California.

Spektor, who was born in Moscow and immigrated to the United States in 1989, has previously released seven studio albums including 11:11 (2001), Songs (2002), Soviet Kitsch (2004), Begin to Hope (2006), Far (2009), What We Saw from the Cheap Seats (2012) and the 2016 Remember Us to Life.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Spektor shares her experience writing the new album: “It was interesting because I didn’t really plan it. I was a little bit holed up because I was pregnant for a while, and then I had the baby, so I was just more in my own world. As I was writing all the songs, the desire to kind of put older songs onto this particular record just kind of left, and all of a sudden, I just wanted all of these songs to be on it.”

During the interview, Spektor also discusses politics and Trump saying, “my true feeling is that this person is severely mentally different. You know what I mean? Like … I wouldn’t go so far as to diagnose him, but he seems like a sociopath, at least.”

Her previous tours have garnered praise and The Santa Barbara Independent said her performance “captivated audiences with impeccable storytelling and whimsical piano playing.” Check out a list of tour dates below:
