After a busy year, Dean Ween is going on tour. The Dean Ween Group released their sophomore full-length album entitled rock2 this past March, compilation of 11 songs that Ween calls their “snapshot of the fall of 2016.” He said, “it represents the first time that I was able to take what we do onstage and put it on a record.” “2017 is a strange time to be a musician,” he added,”live music is really your main outlet for making a living. I never thought at this stage of my career that I would be putting in this much time on the road and in the studio, but I am, and I’m enjoying it more than I ever have.” Ween has also recorded a collaboration with Kurt Vile in the past year that he is considering turning into a record.
One of the featured shows is a Rocks Off Cruise on August 30 aboard The Liberty Belle Riverboat. Tickets for the cruise are on sale now. All of the tour dates are listed below.
