Liz Phair Announce New Fall 2018 North American Tour Dates

With her recent release of Girly-Sound To Guyville: The 25th Anniversary Box Set, singer-songwriter Liz Phair has announced a series of headlining North American full-band tour beginning this Fall. For fans who were hoping to see Phair this summer but saw their dreams crushed when her shows instantly were sold out now have a second chance of seeing their favorite singer.

The extended tour has added 24 dates connecting the singer in cities that were instantly sold out on her June run of shows. Phair will also make stops in major cities across the Midwest, West Coast, South, and East Coast. Phair will also make festival appearances at Raleigh, North Carolina’s Hopscotch and Eddie Vedder’s new Ohana Music and Arts Festival in Dana Point, California.

Fans can purchase their tickets when the pre-sale becomes available this Wednesday, May 16th and when they become available to the public this Friday, May 18th. Throughout the tour, there will be a meet and greet experiences available to those hardcore fans including a ticket to the concert, opportunity to take a photo with Phair, an invitation to an intimate pre-show experience including access to soundcheck and a cash bar as well as much more. Girly-Sound to Guyville: The 25th Anniversary Box Set is available now and contains a plethora of goodies including the first official restored audio of all three 1991 Girl-Sound tapes from the original cassettes, the 1993 Exile in Guyville remastered by Emily Lazar at The Lodge, a thick book containing an extensive oral history by Jason Cohen, plus essays by Liz Phair and journalist Ann Powers. The vinyl version of the book includes never before published photos, unseen artwork, and ephemera. Capitol Records has also revealed that they are going to release vinyl reissues of Liz Phair’s previous albums Whip-Smart, Whitechocolatespaceegg, and Liz Phair on June 8th. 

UPDATE (9/6): Speedy Ortiz will serve as the opening act on Liz Phair’s Amps on the Lawn Tour dates.
