Lights Announces Graphic Novel Version of Skin & Earth Comic Series for July 2018 Release

For those unfamiliar with the works of Lights, she is a Canadian musician and artist who has gained worldwide fame for her alt-pop tunes and incredible art. Through a recent press release, Lights has announced that she will be releasing a new graphic novel in July of this year titled Skin&Earth. Not only will there be a new graphic novel to delight the hearts and eyes, but if one were to buy the special trade edition, the package will come with the exclusive access to the new art by lights as well as bonus materials that will be soundtracked by the Skin&Earth album.

The new novel will be released through the publication company Dynamite Entertainment and will contain all six issues of the arc. The collection will be a 200-page hardcover edition as well as a paperback edition. Both the hardcover and softcover will include a personal introduction by Lights, digital codes to the music, and additional variant art. The premiere of Skin&Earth will take place at 2018 San Diego Comic Con and will be presented by Lights herself.

In celebration of her new success, Lights has also shared five new live videos from her sold-out Toronto gig during the We Were Here Tour. Live videos include the songs “Savage,” “We Were Here,” “Giants,” “New Fears,” and “Almost Had Me.” Check out all the videos here. To preorder the exciting new graphic novel, click here.
