Today Ghost announced their first-ever headline arena dates in support of their fourth and newest album Prequelle, set to be released on June 1, 2018. Ghost’s tour will begin in Riverside, California on May 5th and continue until Dec. 15 in Brooklyn, New York at the Barclays Center. The band’s announcement was made during a press conference at the Irving Plaza by Papa Nihil and Sister Imperator.
The video Chapter Three: Back on the Road reveals the murders of all three former Papas. The answer to the question of where all the old Papas go is revealed. It is also shown that fans will be able to see and interact with the first three Papas while the band is touring. Cardinal Copia is the “newest” lead singer of the rock band and the first not in the Papa line.
According to mxdwn there is a preview for the song “Rats” from the album Prequelle. Cardinal Copia, who replaced Papa Emeritus Zero was released to fans before the preview for the song “Rats”. When the “new” lead singer Cardinal Copia was introduced to fans it signaled that a new album was going to be released soon.
