Fresh and energetic drumbeats abound in Touche Amore’s jacked new release “Green.” According to Brooklyn Vegan, “Green” is Amore’s first release since 2016’s Stage Four, a cathartic ode to frontman Jeremy Bolm’s mother, who died from cancer in 2014 at the age of 69. The new single, released by Epitaph and mixed by Ken Andrews of Failure, is the ultimate mix of pop-punk rhythm, rising melody, and fervent vocals. The song, recorded by Zach Tuch at the Hallway Studios in Woodland Hills, Ca., is the ultimate tribute to the bared down punk aesthetic that places all the emphasis on blasting emotional guts right through your brain.
