Rock group Clutch performed a brand new song called “Gimme The Keys” this past weekend at the Las Rageous Festival in Las Vegas, NV. The track will be a part of their new album Book of Bad Decisions.  This is the Maryland based band’s first performance of 2018, with their last tour being last December, where they also debuted two new songs titled “Sonic Counsilor” and “Talk Box” at Nashville’s Marathon Music Works. On that same tour, the band performed a few new songs, including “Bad Decisions,” “150 Pesos,” “How To Shake Hands,” “Vision Quest” and “Bubonic Blues” and “We Love A Good Fire,” Dream Off,” and “Spirit of 76.”

This is also the first album from the band in three years, since 2015’s Psychic Warfare, which received critical praise. Earlier this year, the group tweeted out a photo of them in the studio working on the album.

The four-man band formed in 1991 and have been together since. According to LoudWire, the group did an interview with Britney Patton of 103.7 The Eagle Rocks discussing the new album, with frontman Neil Fallon stating  “This record has lot of … maybe not a lot of, but instances where I looked back into events of my own life or Clutch’s career, took them and exaggerated them for the purposes of drama,” said Fallon. “I’ve always been wary of that, cause I don’t really like nostalgia, but I also realize after 25 years, there’s a whole catalogue of experiences that I can take and draw from that.” According to The PRP, the album is complete and has a tentative September release date. Check out the video of their performance of the new track below:

The group is also scheduled to perform at the Rocklahoma festival in Oklahoma along with Poison, Godsmack, and A Perfect Circle May 25-27.
