Chvrches Announce Fall 2018 Tour Dates

Electric pop group CHVRCHES have announced North American tour dates to their already extensive tour ahead of their new album, Love Is Dead set to be released May 25th. This is the first album from the group in three years, following 2015’s  Every Open Eye. Singer Lauren Mayberry describes the album as a  “coming to terms with the fact that there are great things in the world and there are awful things in the world and that you can’t get one without the other.” In press release, the tour will be the first time the band will use a live drummer. The trio also worked with producer Greg Kurstin on the new album. Kurstin has produced for Adele, Sia, Foo Fighters, and Liam Gallagher. Four songs have been released so far from the new album, with the most recent song being the Steve Mac produced “Miracle,” which has been described as “pop-euphoria.” Check out the res of the album tracklist below:

The newly added fall tour dates will kick off in San Diego, CA at the Cal Coast Credit Union Open Air Theatre September 20th. The newly added tour dates also include Seattle, Vancouver, and Atlanta before concluding October 20th in Boston. Check out the tour dates below:

The group was recently announced as an act for the Splendour In The Grass Festival along with Kendrick Lamar, Vampire Weekend and Lorde, taking place July 20-22 at the North Byron Parklands.
