Ted Nugent Calls Political Opposition “Rabid Coyotes” that Should Be Shot in Interview with Infowars’ Alex Jones

Musician and National Rifle Association board member Ted Nugent, is notorious for being candid about his personal and political views. He recently had another opportunity to voice his opinions during recent interview with InfoWars host Alex Jones. Nugent was characteristically uninhibited. Jones asked Nugent why liberals hate America and “love communism.”

“Don’t ask why,” Nugent said. “Just know that evil, dishonesty and scam artists have always been around and that right now they’re liberal, they’re Democrat, they’re RINOs, they’re Hollywood, they’re fake news, they’re media, they’re academia, and they’re half of our government, at least.”

“So come to that realization,” he continued. “There are rabid coyotes running around, you don’t wait till you see one to go get your gun, keep your gun handy. And every time you see one, shoot one.”

Nugent is a major advocate of gun rights and the Second Amendment. Just days earlier, Nugent made comments referring to the Parkland, Florida shooting survivors as “liars” and “poor, mushy-brained children” and that “they have no soul.” The Parkland survivors are victims of a mass shooting that occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida on February 14. Seventeen people were killed and seventeen more wounded, making it one of the deadliest school shootings in American history. After the shooting, some Stoneman Douglas students began campaigning for legislation of gun control  and founded the advocacy group Never Again MSD. The students actively promoted their cause, appearing on numerous television shows and inspiring mass student walk-outs and marches across the country. Others involved in the movement began calling for a boycott of the NRA, with several prominent companies, such as Delta Airlines, Best Western and United Airlines pulling their support.

Nugent is a staunch conservative and supporter of the Republican party, having endorsed Donald Trump during the 2016 elections and performing at a number of Trump rallies, including Trump’s final campaign rally in Grand Rapids.
