Unknown Mortal Orchestra Get Funky in New Video for Dance-Infused “Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays”

Unknown Mortal Orchestra have released the new video for “Everyone Acts Crazy Nowadays” from the new album Sex & Food (Jagjaguwar), released on April 6th. The animated video shows a group of people (and a tiger)  getting ready to take a picture, with everyone looking like they are on drugs with a variety of pills floating in the air. “But we are taking all kinds of shit” it says in the song.It seems as though the end is near, with drugs being a part of the reason why. The video was illustrated and animated by artist Greg Sharp.

This is the third song released off of the album, following “Not In Love, We’re Just High” and “American Guilt” and is also the second video released from the album, following “American Guilt.” They will also be hitting the road this summer in support of the album. Makeness, Shamir, and Sylvan Esso will also support the band on select dates of the tour. The tour will kick off April 22nd in Northhampton, MA at Pearl Street and will be hitting major cities including Brooklyn, Seattle, Los Angeles and Austin, TX. The band will also be playing some shows in Europe in between playing in North America and will play in cities such as Paris, Barcelona, London and Manchester. Check out the full itinerary below:
