Qui Release New Song “Misty/Pee Pee VS Homo” Available on Original X-Ray 7″

Qui has released the single “Misty/Pee Pee VS Homo”. This follows the release of their album Life, Water, Living and video “Shame On You”.

The band has released a limited edition physical Original Medical X-Ray and Flexi track available on Blank City Records on April 6th. In addition, to celebrate the launch of this limited edition, the band will be playing a single launch show in Los Angeles on the eve of the launch. This event will be held on April 5th at Bigfoot Lodge East.

According to the press release, Matt Cronk, QUI singer/guitarist, stated “There is no irony or cheekiness intended by our version of “Misty,” beyond the juxtaposition of “Pee Pee Vs Homo,” the former being soft and pretty, the latter being loud and ugly. This single is, in one sense, a good example of the breadth of our pallet. We did a super job, no? Yes. Yes, we did.””

In the beginning, the song has a slow tune with the piano based beat and the chorus atmosphere in the background with the use of back up vocals. Nearly half way through the song, the electric guitar begins tuning and the tune changes completely. The song can be heard below.
