The lineup for the 4th annual Pilgrimage Music Festival has officially been announced. The headliners include rock act Jack White, country singer Chris Stapleton, and soul legend Lionel Richie.
Jack White has made waves with his former act The White Stripes, as well as his features on The Great Gatsby soundtrack and Beyoncé’s Lemonade. The rock star has recently added his third studio album Boarding House Reach to his impressive repertoire.
Stapleton broke onto the scene with his record-breaking album Traveller. He subsequently released several successful studio albums and was recently featured on the Justin Timberlake single, “Say Something”.
Lionel Richie needs no introduction. His decades long career spawned eleven studio albums. His presence at the festival is sure to bring in a key demographic, but his universally themed music has something to offer everyone in attendance.
Other notable acts include Hozier, Brandi Carlile, and Counting Crows. Hozier rose to fame after his single, “Take Me to Church”, went viral. His self-titled debut album was an impressive showcase of his impressive metaphorical songwriting and vocal prowess. Folk singer-songwriter Carlile will surely perform songs off her recently released By the Way, I Forgive You which Rolling Stone referred to as a “delicate masterpiece”. Counting Crows, known most prominently for their ubiquitous “Mr. Jones”, will round out the most notable acts at the festival.
Also performing are Amos Lee, Bleachers, Lord Huron, and many more. Amos Lee blends country, folk, and soft rock in his work. He has made several solo albums and joined forces with Zac Brown Band on “Day That I Die” off their album Uncaged. Lord Huron is perhaps most famous for his recent viral hit “The Night We Met” featured in the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
