Hardcore punk/hip-hop group Ho99o9 are back with a new video from their excellent debut full-length album United States of Horror. The new song, which is called “Street Power,” deftly mixes a nasty hip-hop beat with breakneck punk speeds. The band, which consists of theOGM and Eaddy are featured in the video, which complements the rough sounding song with eye-catching and sometimes disturbing visuals.
The song starts out with an experimental tone with a mid-tempo pacing. Then, when the song hits its frenetic chorus, the instrumentals crank it full-on 80s hardcore. The result is a song that is equal parts fascinating, thrilling and challenging.
The duo hit the road this year, bringing their confrontational stage show on the road. In addition to an extensive amount of headlining dates, the band will also be opening for Avenged Sevenfold and Prophets of Rage on select dates.
