mxdwn PREMIERE: THE WLDLFE Deliver Slow-Burning Alternative Pop on New Song “Real Ones”

THE WLDLFE are a rising alt-pop group from Indianapolis, IN who are releasing singles in anticipation of a full length in the summer of 2018. We have the premiere of the latest song in that run of tracks, a nostalgic pop nugget called “Real Ones.” The song has powerfully-delivered vocals and a breezy dance beat, creating a modern pop atmosphere with memorable lyrics and contemporary production sensabilities.

“Real Ones is about the friends that stick around until the very end,” said Jansen Hogan of THE WLDLFE. “There are a lot friendships that you have when you’re younger that ultimately fade out. This song is about the friendships that don’t fade and feel the same no matter how old you are.”

Joining frontman Hogan is guitarist Jason Boucouras, drummer Geoff Jones, bass player Jack Crane, and multi-instrumentalist Carson Hogan. The Midwestern band debuted back in 2016 with their EPs New and ILY. They look to build on that momentum that saw attention from college radio as well as a spotlight by MTV on Spotify. “I Don’t Mind,” a previously released track, was the first to come from their as-yet-untitled full length.
