Oakland’s avant-garde metal band Neurosis is joining Boston metalcore pioneers Converge on a joint North American tour. The heavy metal hitters announced today, their new West Coast North American tour. Although, this isn’t the first time the two groups have come together. Last summer, the two bands joined forces for a North American tour throughout the Midwest and East Coast. This time, they doing new shows together but are spreading their love and making their way to the West Coast.
Recently, Neurosis shared June European tour dates. These dates will see the metal band alongside fellow labelmates Deafkds while they hit up the European club circuit. The new 14-date tour will begin on July 6th in Seattle, and continuing through Vancouver, Portland, Berkeley, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Santa Ana, San Diego, Phoenix, Albuquerque, Denver, Lawrence, Dallas, ending in Austin on July 21st. Belgian post-hardcore band Amenra will join them on the road.

Neurosis’s eleventh studio LP, Fires Within Fires was released back in September of 2016 and is available now on CD, LP, cassette, and all digital platforms through the band’s Neurot Recordings.
The last new album released by Converge was in 2012 with their All The Love We Leave Behind, but they came back in 2016 with a re-release of their 2004 album You Fail Me, but under the new name, You Fail Me Redux.
