Life Of Agony Announce Spring 2018 Rise of the Underground Tour Dates

Life of Agony has been extremely active since releasing their first new album in over a decade, 2017’s A Place Where There’s No More Pain. The band have been touring relentlessly and today have announced yet another slew of dates in support of the record. This tour will hit the United States from May to September before heading across the Atlantic Ocean for a European tour in October. Sandwiched in there are a couple of June festival appearances in Europe for Nova Rock Festival, With Full Force Festival and Keiler Woche Festival. The trek concludes in November, where the band will headline The Sound of Revolution Festival.

The tour happens to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the band’s debut album. That record, River Runs Red was released on Roadrunner Records and introduced the alternative metal band to the world. “We’re breaking out some old fan favorites that we’ve never played before live and hitting cities we haven’t been to in over a decade,” said bassist Alan Robert. “You really can’t beat the crazy energy of a packed, sweaty, tiny club, like we used to play back in the day, so we decided to include some very intimate rooms on this tour, along with the bigger venues, to feel that deep emotional connection again with our die-hard fans. It’s gonna be insane.”

Opening the tour is a new band called Silvertomb. This group features a few former members of Type O Negative, Johnny Kelly and Kenny Hickey.
