Courtney Barnett Releases Wondrous New Video for “Need A Little Time” In Collaboration With Visual Artist Danny Cohen

Courtney Barnett released the second single from her highly anticipated album Tell Me How You Really Feel, “Need A Little Time.” Watch the video for “Need A Little Time” below.

“Need A Little Time” exposes a lovely tenderness and vulnerability in Barnett’s singing voice, which grows in strength each verse until the point it seems takes flight, becoming weightless as it floats over each euphoric chorus.

“Need A Little Time” is accompanied by an imaginative video by Barnett’s frequent visual collaborator Danny Cohen.

Cohen says “Need A Little Time has this soaring, floating feeling to it.” It’s a wonderfully quirky, space-themed venture in the style and scope of “Dr. Who”, launching Barnett into the stars and finally into the arms of her beloved guitar. It appears that at the end of space and time, music, is really all Barnett needs.

The release of Tell Me How You Really Feel will also be followed by a string of worldwide live dates this summer.

Tell Me How You Really Feel will be released on May 18th through Mom + Pop, Marathon Artists and Barnett’s own label Milk! Records.
