You may remember Johnny Depp joining the Black Keys on stage for a head-banging session on the chart-topping “Gold on the Ceiling.” Now, Depp, and even Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry, rocked on stage alongside the Stone Temple Pilots (STP). According to Alternative Nation, last night in Pasadena, CA, Johnny Depp performed “Down” with STP and then shredded even harder when Perry came out to play on “Toys in the Attic” and “Sex Type Thing.”

Even before this fiery night of incendiary guitar skills and pure fun, Depp joined the Stone Temple Pilots in their kick-off show in Santa Clarita in support of the upcoming March 16th self-titled studio album.
