Paramore Announces 2018 After Laughter Summer Tour (Tour 05) Dates

Riding on the success of their latest album, After Laughter, Paramore continue to tour North America, announcing their 2018 summer tour with Foster the People. The pop punk trio will begin the next leg of their journey June 12 in St. Augustine, Florida, and span across the U.S. ending their tour July 24 in Morrison, Colorado.

While Paramore’s members have spontaneously changed since their first studio release in 2007, front-woman Haley Williams, guitarist Taylor York and bassist Jeremy Davis tirelessly tour. The band wrapped up their fall 2017 tour on Oct. 17, leaving only roughly four months of break in between the two tours. A continuation of publicity for After LaughterParamore will make stops in Toronto, Brooklyn, Chicago and New Orleans, just to name a few.

Sticking with their commitment to ensure their fans get tickets rather than scalpers or bots, Paramore have teamed with the new Ticketmaster Verified Fan platform. Registration for the fan presale will run from March 8 to 11 at 10 p.m. eastern time and fans can register here. From there, presale tickets for registered fans will go on sale Wednesday March 14 at 9 a.m. eastern through the next day at 10 p.m. while tickets last.

Tickets for the general public will be available through Live Nation March 16 at 10 a.m. local time.

If fans miss their chance to get tickets to catch the tour, Paramore also announced their third annual PARAHOY vacation experience with its complete lineup. The lineup for PARAHOY 2018 includes the likes of Local Natives, Judah & The Lion and Now Now along with the obvious stars of the music filled cruise, Paramore.

After Laughter hit number one on Billboard’s U.S. Top Alternative Albums chart and the U.S. Top Rock Albums chart along with being included on several Best Album of the Year lists in 2017, leaving the band with another demanding round of shows planned.

Samantha Malone: Before enrolling in the communication and journalism department at Northern Illinois University the only thing I was sure of in my dreams was music. Once I began attending classes and working for the paper, I quickly realized my deep love for writing and hopes to combine my two passions into one. Currently, I work as the Entertainment Editor of the Northern Star as well as a contributing writer for mxdwn and previously contributed to Rare Chicago. While I still pursue my music very actively, writing is something that has also stolen my heart and I continue to work toward both restlessly.
