Tuxedo and Zapp have worked together on a song “Shy”. This follows the release of Tuxedo and the music video for “Number One”. Separately from the band, Mayer Hawthorne has played live at Apogee Studios, Los Angeles.
According to the press release, Tuxedo has stated “We were obviously big fans of Zapp already, but when we performed at the same festival in Japan and they blew us off the stage, we said ‘damn, we gotta do a song with them.’”
The song has a funky uplifting beat along with the relaxed vocals presented. There is a overall dance atmosphere that this song brings. The song can be listened to below.
