Logic Drops Surprise New Video for “Overnight”

Logic has released a music video for “Overnight”. This follows the release of “44 More” and the announcement of the lineup for Soundset Festival. This also follows the release of “Everybody”, which became a number one Billboard release.

The song has a groovy hip hop beat giving a high energy that’s known as Logic’s style. Through the lyrics, he delivers the message that success did not come to him overnight. The video was directed by Mike Holland, Justin Fleischer, and Alec Schweitzer.

In the beginning of the video, the artist gives a message to his fans. In this message, he shares the idea that the music video rose when he was traveling to Japan and Hawaii, as the video states “We took a trip to Maui and Tokyo to record music. While there, Logic said ‘Yo let’s shoot a music video. Fuck it.'” The video opens up in in Maui as he is swaying in a hammock. It then transitions to Logic walking through the streets of Tokyo through different sceneries, interacting with many people and showing the different lights that shine bright in Tokyo’s night time. Throughout the video, the places change from Hawaii and Japan in a smooth manner as Logic continues to spit out verses. The video can be watched below.
