It feels like it’s just a matter of time before Glaswegian indie pop group Chvrches release their new album. They’ve already shared a single from the record, titled “Get Out.” Martin Doherty has already said the band will release an album in 2018 and tour as well, with plenty of festival appearances in 2018 making that seem like a pretty truthful statement from the band member.
Now, the group has posted an image on Twitter that indicates the album will be titled Love Is Dead as well as providing fans with the first glimpse of what is likely the track list. To the right side of the photo are lines like “All of this pointless talk,” “These rabbitholes run deep,” “the truth exists somewhere between the dark + light,” and other more.
Lead singer Lauren Mayberry recently revealed the fact that Matt Berninger of The National appears on the track “My Enemy,” which is interestingly very difficult to see in the teaser image on Twitter. The song leaked for moment on Deezer, but has since been pulled. It includes what may be the album artwork for Love Is Dead.
According to the image, the track list of the album will be:
Love Is Dead
Graffiti
Get Out
Deliverence
My Enemy
Forever
Never Say Die
Miracle
Graves
Heaven/Hell
God’s Plan
Really Gone
ii
Wonderland
