Alice Glass Says Ethan Kath’s Defamation Suit Has Been Dismissed.

Ethan Kath’s defamation law suit against his former Crystal Castle bandmate, Alice Glass has been dismissed.
Claudio Palieri otherwise known as Ethan Kath, sued Alice Glass, for defamation over rape allegations she’s posted on her website. Since these allegations, more women have gone to authorities with their own stories of misconduct by Palmieri.

Yet while he is currently still under investigation for other sex crimes, Glass didn’t hesitate to express her gratitude after winning in court, gratefully thanking her supporters.

“The defamation lawsuit against me was dismissed! Thank you so much for the love and support throughout this ugly process. This is a victory for survivors of abuse and sexual misconduct in countries where abusers use the court system to further victimize and keep people silent.”

She concluded with her encouragement to others who may end up in similar situations, promoting them to be not be “silenced.”

The Los Angeles Superior Court confirmed to Pitchfork that Glass motion to strike was granted. In an email Glass’ lawyer wrote; “ Yes, we are extremely pleased with the Court’s decision to grant our motion to strike, which effectively dismisses the complaint in its entirety. As the prevailing, party, we are entitled to attorneys fees and will return to court to obtain an order in that regard.”

Last week, Glass expressed to The Daily Beast her feelings towards the defamation suit, expressing her refusal to fall into the trap of being intimated by the situation or Kath, as she expressed that there are other victims who “probably don’t have access to a lawyer and so they’d be too scared to speak out if they think they’ll be sued for hundreds of thousands of dollars.”She concluded, “I refused to be intimidated by him.”
