Natalia Dyer of Stranger Things Stars in New James Bay Video for “Wild Love”

Natalia Dyer, best known for playing the role of Nancy Wheeler in Netflix series Stranger Things, made an appearance in James Bay’s latest music video “Wild Love”. The video, released on February 8th, premiered on Good Morning America and has already gained positive reviews from fans and press, by reaching 4 million streams on Spotify and half a million views on Youtube.

The song, written and produced with longtime friend and collaborator Jon Green and recorded at London’s Baltic Studios with the help of Paul Epworth, represents Bay’s comeback after his debut, Grammy-nominated album Chaos & The Calm.

In the video, Bay and Dyer are reaching for each other on a dance floor of a busy club. They seem to struggle to get through among the many people dancing and partying, but once they do, they lift on a higher than everyone else, who all of a sudden disappears. The two are left face to face but when Bay tries and reach out for her, her body dissolves into a swarm of butterflies.

Dyer said she had a great time shooting the video and expressed her admiration for Bay as a singer and a person, by defining him a huge talent. Bay also found Dyer to be “a lovely person, a huge talent and it was great hanging with her while making this video. I’m a massive Stranger Things fan so I tried everything in my power not to fan boy too hard”, reports NME.The singer also announced he will embark on a North American tour which will start, however, with a date in London, at the Brixton Electric. All dates sold out within minutes.
