Full Terror Assault Open Air Festival has recently announced the lineup for its 2018 edition. Among the headliners, Bay area thrash metal band Death Angel and Immolation, famous death metal band from New York. Both acts are Nuclear Blasts Records’ artists.

The 2018 edition of the festival marks the return of Nuclear Blast as official sponsor of the event, which will be held at Hogrock Campground in Cave-In-Rock, IL on September 6-7-8. Fans will enjoy 115 acres with fishing, camping, hiking and swimming areas; and they can bring their own booze.

Earlier editions of the festivals included bands such as Overkill, Iron Reagan, Venom INC. and Crowbar, while one of the 2018 headliners, Death Angel, has recently announced their intention to wane down touring to make room for writing and recording new material, to follow their latest release: 2016 The Evil Divide, said Blabbermouth.net. Guitarist Rob Cavestany, interviewed by FaceCulture, said he has some ideas, riffs an demos, but nothing concrete has yet surfaced beyond that.

Immolation, on the other hand, announced a 2018 European tour, joined by Monument of Misanthropy and Full Of Hell. The band’s latest release came through Nuclear Blast in February 24th 2017 and it was titled Atonement. The album was recorded at Millbrook Sound Studios  in Millbrook, New York with longtime producer Paul Orofino, and it was described by the band as a dark and haunting project, aimed at commenting on the darker side of the humanity and the world today.

Luca Di Fabio: I'm a musician, writer and art aficionado. After spending my youth and teenage years studying music, I developed a fervent interest in writing. I studied political science in Turin, Italy while simultaneously working for three different online newspapers, where I was in charge of producing content, editing and assisting the editor-in-chief. After spending a year in London at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, I completed a Certificate in Songwriting and decided to move to New York City where I enrolled to the New School, from which I graduated in December 2017, majoring in Liberal Arts.
