Kesha Postpones March And April Tour Dates Due To ACL Injury But Will Not Affect Summer Dates

After a triumphant year which saw her released a critically acclaimed new album in the form of Rainbow, in addition to returning to full time performing, Kesha has torn her Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) in her knee and will require surgery to repair it. Due to this, the singer has been forced to cancel her spring tour dates in Japan, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand.

While the technological advancements in the surgery over the years have made it easier to perform and recover from, there is no way for Kesha to be able to physically perform on the scheduled dates.

The recovery and rehabilitation process from the surgery will take some time, but the goal is for Kesha to recover in time for her blockbuster summer tour with Macklemore, which is set to kick off on June 6th. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the trek ever since Kesha appeared on the new Macklemore album last year.

Despite the physical setbacks, Kesha has vaulted back into public consciousness after years of dealing with a debilitating legal battle with former producer Dr. Luke, with the ensuing fallout taking a long time for Kesha to recover from.

The 11-date tour was set to start on March 24th in Brendale, Australia and end April 20th in Osaka, Japan. Ticket holders are encouraged to hold on to their tickets as Kesha plans on rescheduling the dates at some point in the future.
