Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jay Rock and James Blake Join Together On Black Panther Soundtrack To Release New Video for “King’s Dead”

Kendrick Lamar, Future, Jay Rock and James Blake join together to work on the release of “King’s Dead” a part of the Black Panther soundtrack. This follows Kendrick Lamar and SZA Team’s release of “All The Stars” from Black Panther.

According to Consequence of Sound, the song released compliments the release of the movie on Friday. The video was directed by Dave Free and Jack Begert.

The video opens with Kendrick sitting in a palm tree, eating corn on the cob. The video then proceeds to K. Dot, Jay Rock, and Future, who are all fooling around inside a busy office. From there the two scenes switch back and forth with other scenes through the city. Slowly, the artists make their way to the roof. The video can be watched below.

Kendrick Lamar has been reported to ban photographers from his shows, even though phones are still allowed. Also he will be performing at Fuji Rock Festival.
