Fishbach Releases Theatrical New Video for “Eternite”

Fishbach has released a music video for “Eternite”. This follows the announcement that the artist will be performing at the 2018 SXSW Music Festival.

The song was released to celebrate the North American release of the acclaimed debut album A ta merci. The artist will also be performing on a North American tour to support the album.

According to the press release, Le Monde has stated “Fishbach has the singular authority of a Catherine Ringer, the strange, dreamlike-ness of a Christophe and an authenticity and fervor that transcends.” The artist’s vocals are described as a “charismatic presence, both chic and androgynous, pushing the boundaries of pop with her theatricality, distinctive, smoky, contralto vocals and ostentatious stage wear.”

The artist has stated the idea of the video saying, This video is full of memories. A fun and poetic flashback assembled from what was in my musicians’ phones. It gives a life to so called ‘stories’ that were supposed to disappear and illustrate the good times these moving people have spent together.” As the song plays, the video shows videos recorded on Snapchat of different adventures that the artist takes on. The video can be watched below.
