The videos features a color scheme and set influenced by the genius of the Blade Runner cinematography. What opens to a focus of a teenage boy quickly switches focus to of a vampire biting her way through various people as she begins to slowly control the city. The video climaxes with its small dance routine featuring the vampire and her minions as the song finishes off with a quick cameo of Muse frontman Matthew Bellamy. The video was directed by Lance Drake.

The song is available on all digital platforms now so do not worry about having to sign up for a new service!

Matthew Bellamy says in regards to the new single that “the meaning of the song ‘Thought Contagion’ is about how other people’s thoughts, ideas and beliefs can sometimes infect your mind, get into your head and change the way you think yourself”.
