Lovebox Music Festival was formed in 2002 by Groove Armada, one of UK’s most famous electronic duo’s. Along with a flurry of guests, such as Sly and the Family Stone, they would take the stage one night to perform for over 20,000 people. Now, although Armada are no longer the highlight, Gunnersbury Park in London hosts the most popular names in music just like any other festival, with last year’s acts including Frank Ocean, Jamie xx, and Chase & Status.

This year, Lovebox have announced the 2018 lineup, with Childish Gambino, Skepta, SZA, and N.E.R.D., as the headliners, accompanied by Diplo, Annie Mac, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Vince Staples, Mura Masa, Action Bronson, The Internet, Big Boi, Dave, Bicep, Kali Uchis, Jon Hopkins, Loco Dice, Green Velvet, Jackmaster, Underground Kaoz, Motor City Drum Ensemble, Floorplan, Shy FX, Solardo, Belly, Denis Sulta, Peggy Gou, Mall Grab, CamelPhat, Cashmere Cat, blackbear, Mabel, TENSNAKE, MHD, Moxie, CASISDEAD, Krystal Klear, Special Request, DJ Q, Preditah, Jamz Supernova, Black Party, Happy Meals, Star. One, Andrew Hill, Saoirse, Jane Fitz, and Just Jam.

Donald Glover, who performs under the name Childish Gambino, has been taking the world by storm, not only by appearing as the headliner for many festivals this year, but also by gearing up for a massive amount of future releases, from his roles as Lando in the upcoming Star Wars film Solo and Simba in the Lion King remake, as well as the second season of his FX series Atlanta. He also recently performed at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, where he won Best Traditional R&B Performance for his song “Redbone,” as well as four other nominees, including Album of the Year.

Other headliners such as Anderson .Paak and SZA have also been gaining a ton of spotlight, as Anderson revealed that his follow-up to Malibu is currently in the works and produced by Dr. Dre. Meanwhile, SZA has been everywhere from the Grammy’s to Gap commercials and the recent Black Panther soundtrack.

Taking place from July 13th-14th in Gunnersbury Park, London, UK, Lovebox Music Festival tickets are now available on their official website here, at £54.50 for individual days and £99 for both Friday and Saturday (VIP is £125 single-day or £175 both days). The festival will also include experiences such as Hip Hop Karaoke, Noisey video, and an area known as “The Sweet Spot.” Check out the official poster for Lovebox 2018 above.
