Black Moth Announces New Album Anatomical Venus

English metal band Black Moth have been serving their infectious brand of riff-heavy hard rock since 2010. Members Harriet Bevan (vocals), Frederica Gialanze (guitar), Jim Swainston (guitar), Dave Vachon (bass) and Dom McCready (drums) are set to release their third studio album Anatomical Venus in early 2018 on Candlelight/Spinefarm records.

The newest heavy offering from the band is a follow up to 2014s Condemned to Hope and 2012s The Killing Jar both released on New Heavy Sounds.

The new album was recorded by Andy Hawkins in Leeds and mixed by Russ Russell, who has worked with accomplished bands such as Napalm Death and The Wildhearts.

The recent addition of Gialanze on guitar has said to make Anatomical Venus the bands heaviest effort to date, bringing a different influence to their already humble but aggressive sound. Joining forces with Swainston resulted in an undeniable chemistry which is complimented by the thunderous sound of Vachon and McCready.

The compelling force of the album is expected to attract fans of bands such as Kyuss and Melvins while the sounds transcend the idea of genre classification into a beautiful but menacing territory.
