The Regrettes, mxdwn’s Best New Artist of 2017, are a Los Angeles-based punk band, whose debut album Feel Your Feelings Fool! was released last January 2017. The success of the record landed them spots at Summerfest and Riot Fest, and it seems they’re ready to keep the ball rolling when it comes to 2018. Comprised of 17-year-old frontwoman Lydia Night, the band has “collectively dominated the Los Angeles music scene with their infectious – and unapologetically honest – punk-driven pop songs.”
Announcing a new Spring tour on the West Coast, the Regrettes’ huge placement of their song “Summertime” in a UNIQLO ad for women’s undergarments has also garnered the group enough attention to place them at Coachella, Governor’s Ball, Bonnaroo, and Firefly. “I have no idea where this is taking us,” Night told mxdwn, “but my goal is just to have as many people hear our music as possible.” Check out the full tour listing for The Regrettes below.
UPDATE (3/21): Regrettes have extended their tour through the summer, with stops at Governor’s Ball in New York City, Lollapalooza in Chicago and in Tennessee at Bonnaroo.
