Moby Claims CIA Agents Told Him To Post About Trump And Russia On Social Media

Moby, the American electronic musician, had laid many claims about his connection to politics ever since the election of Donald Trump as the 45th President of the United States. He not only turned down the invitation to perform at the President’s inauguration, but his second album with Void Pacific Choir, MORE FAST SONGS ABOUT THE APOCALYPSE, was announced via fake press release from Trump’s fictitious publicist “John Miller” last July.

Now, Moby has added further information regarding his connections to the CIA, which he teased back after the inauguration last February by stating that his “friends in DC” confirmed that the Russian “dossier” was “100% real,” and was being used by the Russian government to “blackmail” the President.

Appearing on WFPK, Pitchfork reports that Moby told WFPK’s Kyle Meredith that “truly concerned” “active and former CIA agents” believe that “[Putin] has a Russian agent as the President of the United States,” citing the “Manchurian Candidate.” Moby goes on to say that they “passed on some information,” saying “you have more of a social media following than any of us do, can you please post some of these things just in a way that … sort of put it out there.”

“It’s really disturbing and it’s going to get quite a lot darker,” he continued, “Like the depths of the Trump family in business and their involvement with organized crime, sponsored terrorism, Russian oligarchs, it’s really dark. I guess we should all, like, fasten our seat belts and hold on.”

Moby’s upcoming album Everything Was Beautiful, Nothing Was Hurt is due out March 2nd via Mute, but while we all wait to hear Moby’s secrets, listen to his comments about Trump on WFPK below:
