The Breeders Announce First New Album in 10 Years All Nerve for March 2018 Release

The alternative rock band, The Breeders, have announced today details of their long-awaited fifth studio album. All Nerve will feature the recently shared single “Wait in the Car,” as well as the brand new single out today titled “All Nerve.” This record is the group’s first new album in a decade, ten years to be exact and is sure to hit all the right notes.

The project, All Nerve brings the band’s classic lineup back including frontwoman Kim Deal, her sister Kelley Deal on guitar and vocals, Josephine Wigs on bass and Jim Macpherson on drums. These are the same members who brought fans their platinum-selling record, Last Splash back in 1993. In 2013, the quartet returned to the stage to celebrate the album’s 20th anniversary and since then have stayed under the radar working on new music. It was confirmed back in November through Marc Maron’s podcast by Kim Deal herself, that a 2018 album release was on the horizon. With the new year, new material from the rock band is just around the corner.

The Breeders’ record, All Nerve was recorded at Candyland, Dayton, Kentucky, with Mike Montgomery; Electrical Audio, Chicago, with Steve Albini and Greg Norman; and with Tom Rastikis at Fernwood Studios, Dayton, Ohio. It will be available to purchase on March 2nd through a variety of ways including CD, standard edition black vinyl LP, limited alternate sleeve/orange vinyl (which is available only in independent stores only) and digitally. For more details on the upcoming new record, check out The Breeders’ official website.
