Ride Announces New EP Tomorrow’s Shore For February 2018 Release and Shares New Single “Catch You Dreaming”

The British rock band Ride has announced today that their forthcoming release of their Tomorrow’s Shore EP will be available February 16th via Wichita Recordings. The four-track EP made up of new songs that include the recently released single “Pulsar” as well as “Keep It Surreal,” “Cold Water People,” and “Catch You Dreaming.”

“Catch You Dreaming” was shared today by the band which features distorted guitars and electronic beats. It is a six-minute song but doesn’t feel like it. In fact, time doesn’t even exist within the song. One can easily lose themselves in the musical odyssey that is “Catch You Dreaming.”

Andy Bell, lead guitarist, and vocalist for Ride commented on what the new track is all about in a recent press release. “‘Catch You Dreaming’ is written from the perspective of being one of the last two people alive, watching as the Universe is ending. The protagonist looks back over the time when humanity existed, realizing that we as humans brought about our own inevitable demise.”

“Then the couple looks back over their own lives of shared memories, and as they are sharing this moment, everything vaporizes. It’s a love song about fate, nostalgia, and having no regrets.”

The band has shared an upcoming headline show that will take place at ULU on February 16th. This new show will mark the release of Tomorrow’s Shore. Tickets for the ULU (where Ride played in the early 90s) performance will be high in demand. The band has graced the main stages of Glastonbury, Primavera, and Latitude in recent years, and completed a sold out headline tour culminating at London’s Forum.
