Jherek Bischoff Shares Holiday EP Twin Peaks At Museum Of Modern Art Screening “The Return Of Free”

Jherek Bischoff has released a Twin Peaks inspired holiday EP called Chestnuts Roasting On An Open Fire Walk With Me at the screening of The Return of Free. This follows the artist’s covers with Amanda Palmer of “Mother” and “Everybody Knows”.

According to Brooklyn Vegan, Bischoff gives holiday classics such as “Christmas Time is Here” in a Angelo Badalamenti style. The artist says “It’s dark, it’s moody and it’s totally ridiculous, but it might also be the Christmas EP you never knew you wanted.”

This holiday EP consists of six classics. The idea of the Twin Peaks styled holiday EP has been kept in the artist’s mind years ago, through the collaborations with artists like Amanda Palmer. The album features instrumental covers using bass, synths and sax solos, along with common Christmas sounds like bells. The track list is listed below.
