Nicole Atkins is a widely admired musician known for her head-nodding, hip-swinging, crooner, soul, and psychedelia influences. She has recently released a new video for her song “Darkness Falls So Quiet” through the New York-based radio show WFUV Today in efforts to support her album Goodnight Rhonda Lee. The video is a lovely, nostalgic black and white piece of visual art featuring Atkins’s friends and bandmates recording the song while also being silly and carefree during their tour breaks. It is a creative, quirky little view into the world and colorful mind that is Nicole Atkins. Check out the video below.

Atkins has recently been on tour in support of her most recent studio album Goodnight Rhonda Lee and is currently still on tour. See if she will be playing in venue near you below. Her album has been widely reviewed and loved by media and press across the world from the likes of Rolling Stone, NME, and more. Check out the mxdwn review here. Jeremy Bacharach: Born in Los Angeles, CA, Jeremy has always been a lover of music. After graduating Hamilton High School with a focus in technical theatre, Jeremy ventured forth to Portland, Oregon so as to study at Lewis and Clark College. After bouncing around majors, he decided to focus on music composition and theory for the purpose of understanding why he loves what he loves. Aside from his major studies in composition, Jeremy also partook in sutdying Jazz Guitar, choir, and piano for the pure joy (and the requirements). Being able to write about what has become the main focus in his life only brings more joy to Jeremy as he is extrmely grateful to be a part of mxdwn!
